Ibanez SG 300 DX Reviews 5

I've been interested in playing bass guitar ever since I heard such bassist's as John Paul Jones, Michal Anthony, Geezer Butler, Jason Newsted, and many others. So, I was looking for a begginer bass and when I saw this peticular one, I had to have it. I bought it at "Jet Laundry's" music store in Sudbury, and paid around $550 for it.

I like alot of thing about this bass. Like it's great for begginers, and for more advanced players. I like the fact that when I'm playing with an amp I can control most of the sound on the bass rather than just on the amp, (bass boast, etc). Also, the thing doesn't need to be tuned as often as you would expect to. I play it every day, and only have to tune it every two weeks.

I only have one dislike, and thats the cost. I love the thing and it was worth every penny, but I was reading some of the other reviews on this site and it seems others have got this same model for a lot better price. Besides that I haven't had any problems with it what so ever.

I'm very impressed with the quality of this product. When I went to purchase the bass, I was nervous because of the amount of money I paid for the thing. There have been tons of people whom pay hundreds for instruments and they end up having a shit load of problems with them. Like I said before, I haven't had any problems.

I recommend Ibanez to anyone whose interested in playing bass. Whether your a beginner or an experienced player this is a great choice. As for me, I will not play anything but Ibanez.
